The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Fort Bend Bush Broncos (Richmond, TX), 3-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Hurricanes now possess a 19-13 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Bend Dulles for a 6A Region III District 21 bout on Tuesday, October 15. Fort Bend Hightower will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 5-22.

With the loss, Fort Bend Bush drops to 7-26 on the campaign. The Broncos host Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a 6A Region III District 21 bout on Tuesday, October 15.
