Maine High School Volleyball - Nokomis overwhelmed by Gardiner

The Gardiner Tigers were winner over the visiting Nokomis Warriors volleyball squad by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

With the win, Gardiner improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Messalonskee (Oakland, ME) to face the Eagles in a Class B test on Tuesday, October 15. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 7-4. Messalonskee won 3-1 in their recent league test against Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME)

The Warriors now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maranacook for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. Nokomis will face a Black Bears squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Camden Hills (Rockport, ME). The Black Bears record now stands at 4-8.
