In Thursday's league challenge, the host Turners Falls Thunder volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Greenfield Green Wave.
The Thunder (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Easthampton/Hampshire (Easthampton, MA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Easthampton/Hampshire was beaten by Belchertown (Belchertown, MA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Green Wave meet the Pope Francis Prep Cardinals (Springfield, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 14. Greenfield will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Minnechaug Regional (Wilbraham, MA).
