With the win, Hackensack improves its record to 12-6 on the season. The Comets travel to Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ) to face the Crusaders in a non-league test on Friday, October 11. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 3-11. Elmwood Park lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against New Milford (New Milford, NJ)

The Highlanders now own a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garfield for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15. Northern Highlands will face a Boilermakers squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Hasbrouck Heights (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ). The Boilermakers record now stands at 9-10.
