The Mustangs now possess a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to Irrigon for a 2A Blue Mountain bout on Tuesday, October 15. Heppner will clash with a Knights team coming off a 3-2 league win over Enterprise (Enterprise, OR). The Knights record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Weston-McEwen drops to 14-7 on the campaign. The Tigerscots travel to Union (Union, OR) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 12. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 14-6. Union won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Joseph (Joseph, OR)
