The Hematites now have a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to West Iron County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 15. Ishpeming will play a Wykons team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Negaunee (Negaunee, MI). The Wykons record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Westwood drops to 0-17 on the campaign. The Patriots host Hancock (Hancock, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 15. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 15-4.
