Virginia High School Volleyball - King's Fork bounced by Western Branch

Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Western Branch improves its record to 7-9 on the season. The Bruins travel to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to face the Cavaliers in a Southeastern test on Tuesday, October 15. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 4-14. Lakeland lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA)

The Bulldogs now own a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Phoebus for a non-league test on Monday, October 14. King's Fork will face a Phantoms squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Hampton (Hampton, VA). The Phantoms record now stands at 8-7.
