The Marine City Mariners topped the visiting Lake Shore Shorians volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Mariners confront the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers (Croswell, MI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 12. Marine City will attempt to advance on its 7-3 season record. The Pioneers go into the game with a 19-19 record after their 3-0 league win over Algonac (Algonac, MI).
The Shorians (4-11) will now prepare for their game against Roseville (Roseville, MI). The Panthers go into the Macomb Area - Gold game with a 4-9 record. In their last game, Roseville gained a win over Lamphere (Madison Heights, MI), 3-2, in a non-league game.
