In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Liberty Christian Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Vandalia Christian Vikings.

The Patriots (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Faith Christian (Ramseur, NC). The Eagles enter the NCCSA AA District 2 - West Region challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Faith Christian was beaten by Alamance Christian (Graham, NC), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Triad Baptist Christian Academy Titans (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 11. Vandalia Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Liberty Christian (Durham, NC).
