Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Wells Leopards (Wells, NV) and the visiting Lund Mustangs (Lund, NV), observed Wells's volleyball team top Lund by a count of 3-1.

The Leopards (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Owyhee (Owyhee, NV). The Braves enter the 1A Eastern contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Owyhee notched a victory over McDermitt (McDermitt, NV), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Mustangs battle the Jackpot Jaguars (Jackpot, NV) in a 1A Eastern contest, on Friday, October 11. Lund will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record. The Jaguars enter the contest with a 1-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Wendover (Wendover, UT).
