Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Massabesic Mustangs (Waterboro, ME) and the host Noble Knights (North Berwick, ME), observed Massabesic's volleyball team top Noble by a tally of 3-1.
The Mustangs (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Portland (Portland, ME). The Bulldogs enter the Class A contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Portland was beaten by Biddeford (Biddeford, ME), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Knights meet the Biddeford Tigers (Biddeford, ME) in a Class A contest, on Tuesday, October 15. Noble will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 10-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Windham (Windham, ME).
