North Carolina High School Volleyball - Millennium over Millers Creek Christian

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC) and the visiting Millers Creek Christian Lions (Millers Creek, NC), observed Millennium's volleyball team top Millers Creek Christian by a count of 3-1.

The Lions (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bethany (Summerfield, NC). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Bethany notched a victory over Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Lions battle the Community Baptist Conqueror (Reidsville, NC) in a Central Carolina - East contest, on Friday, October 11. Millers Creek Christian will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Conqueror enter the contest with a 2-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Faith Christian Academy (Burlington, NC).
