Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Nevada improves its record to 27-7 on the season. The Cubs travel to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15. The Wolverines go into the test with a record of 15-14.

The Trojans now own a 10-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dunkerton for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. West Marshall will face a Raiders squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Rockford (Rockford, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 16-9.
