The Steeleville Warriors volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host New Athens Yellow Jackets to 1 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.
The Warriors now possess a 16-9 record. They play next when they host Marissa/Coulterville for a Cahokia (Kaskaskia Division) outing on Tuesday, October 15. Steeleville will clash with a Meteors team coming off a 2-1 league win over Valmeyer (Valmeyer, IL). The Meteors record now stands at 16-12.
