In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Paul VI Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the St. Mary's Ryken Knights.
The Panthers (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA). The Knights come into the Washington Catholic challenge with a 18-3 record.
Next, the Knights play the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) in a Washington Catholic challenge, on Wednesday, October 16. St. Mary's Ryken will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC).
