The Rockbridge County Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Turner Ashby Knights to 2 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to William Monroe for a Valley outing on Tuesday, October 15. Rockbridge County will play a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to East Rockingham (Elkton, VA). The Dragons record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Turner Ashby drops to 9-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Broadway (Broadway, VA) to play the Gobblers in a Valley outing on Tuesday, October 15. The Gobblers come into the outing with a record of 10-6. Broadway lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA)
