In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Sage Hill Lightning volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the University Trojans.
The Lightning (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against San Luis Obispo Classical Academy (San Luis Obispo, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, San Luis Obispo Classical Academy beat Coastal Christian (Pismo Beach, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Trojans meet the Calexico Bulldogs (Calexico, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 12. University will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 11-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Calipatria (Calipatria, CA).
