South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football squad thwart the visiting Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy (Madison, WI), 38-8 in a non-league match.

The Sobos (7-0) will now prepare for their match against West Carroll (Savanna, IL). The Thunder come into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, West Carroll defeated Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL), 70-8, in a league match.
