In Friday's league outing, the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats (Everett, WA) football squad trounced the host Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA), by a margin of 43-7.
The Wildcats now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lynden for a 2A Northwest outing on Friday, October 17. Archbishop Murphy will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 27-17 league win over Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Lions record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Anacortes drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Seahawks host Lakewood (Arlington, WA) to face the Cougars in a 2A Northwest game on Saturday, October 18.
