North Carolina High School Football - Ballantyne Ridge trounced by Palisades

October 10, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28278

Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC), 54-14 in a league match.

The Pumas (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers come into the Southwestern 7A/8A match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Providence routed East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 35-7, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Wolves play the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern 7A/8A battle, on Friday, October 17. Ballantyne Ridge will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 35-7 league win over Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC).
