The Trinity Shamrocks football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Ballard Bruins to 3 in the Shamrocks league triumph on Friday.

The Shamrocks now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Eastern for a 6A District 5 test on Friday, October 17. Trinity will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 15-7 league loss to Oldham County (Buckner, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Ballard drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Oldham County (Buckner, KY) to clash with the Colonels in a 6A District 5 test on Friday, October 17. The Colonels enter the game with a record of 5-2. Oldham County won 15-7 in their recent league game against Eastern (Louisville, KY)
