Spectators at Friday's non-league bout between the Noble & Greenough Bulldogs (Dedham, MA) and the host Berkshire School Bears (Sheffield, MA), witnessed Noble & Greenough's football squad edge Berkshire School by a tally of 28-24.
The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brooks (North Andover, MA). The enter the Independent School ISL-9 contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Brooks was nudged by Middlesex (Concord, MA), 41-8, in a league bout.
The Bears now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Canterbury School for a Evergreen bout on Saturday, October 18. Berkshire School will encounter a Saints team coming off a 24-20 league win over Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA). The Saints record now stands at 4-0.
