North Carolina High School Football - Newton-Conover tops Bunker Hill

October 10, 2025: Newton, NC 28658

The Newton-Conover Red Devils football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Bunker Hill Bears to 22 in the Red Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Red Devils now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Iredell for a Western Foothills 4A/5A challenge on Friday, October 17. Newton-Conover will face a Warriors team coming off a 52-8 league loss to Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.

The Bears (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Foard (Newton, NC). The Tigers go into the Western Foothills 4A/5A challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Foard lost by East Lincoln (Denver, NC), 30-0, in a league challenge.
