The Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders (Laurinburg, NC) volleyball overcame the host Grace Christian Wildcats (Loris, SC), 2-0 in Friday's league contest.
The Defenders (14-2) will now prepare for their contest against Marlboro Academy (Bennettsville, SC). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Marlboro Academy was knocked off by Christ the Cornerstone Academy (Laurinburg, NC), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Wildcats battle the Mintz Christian Academy Lions (Roseboro, NC) in a contest, on Thursday, October 16. Grace Christian will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record.
