The Cardinals (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC). The Bobcats enter the Northwest Piedmont 1A/2A battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Piedmont Classical by Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC), 10-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Jaguars meet the Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A match, on Monday, October 13. River Mill will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 8-3 record after their 8-1 league win over Central Carolina Academy (Sanford, NC).
