In Friday's league challenge, the host Aubrey Chaparrals volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lake Dallas Falcons.

The Chaparrals (37-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Panther Creek (Frisco, TX). The Panthers come into the 4A Region II District 9 challenge with a 20-11 record. In their last test, Panther Creek gained a win over Gainesville (Gainesville, TX), 3-0, in a league test.

The Falcons now sport a 9-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richland for a 4A Region II District 9 test on Tuesday, October 14. Lake Dallas will face a Raiders squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Sanger (Sanger, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 15-14.
