Beckville Bearcats (Beckville, TX) followers went home satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad triumph over the host Gary Bobcats (Gary, TX), 3-0 in a league game.

Next up, the Bearcats face the Garrison Bulldogs (Garrison, TX) in a 2A Region III District 20 game, on Tuesday, October 14. Beckville will attempt to advance on its 29-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 20-16 record after their 3-0 league win over Waskom (Waskom, TX).

With the loss, Gary drops to 6-15 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX) to play the Yellowjackets in a 2A Region III District 20 outing on Tuesday, October 14.
