Texas High School Volleyball - Saginaw can't hold off Brewer

In Friday's league match, the Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX) volleyball squad tipped the host Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX), by a final score of 3-2.

Next up, the Bears confront the Chisholm Trail Rangers (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 5 bout, on Tuesday, October 14. Brewer will attempt to better on its 18-14 season record. The Rangers come into the bout with a 10-23 record after their 3-0 league loss to Granbury (Granbury, TX).

With the loss, Saginaw drops to 14-20 on the campaign. The Rough riders travel to Azle (Azle, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a 5A Region I District 5 bout on Tuesday, October 14. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 25-12. Azle won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX)
