In Friday's league match, the Callisburg Wildcats (Gainesville, TX) volleyball squad tipped the host Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX), by a count of 3-2.
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 match, on Friday, October 17. Callisburg will attempt to move on its 15-20 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a 27-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX).
The Bearcats (7-26) will now prepare for their match against Paradise (Paradise, TX). The Panthers come into the 3A Region II District 10 bout with a 24-11 record. In their last bout, Paradise was nudged by Ponder (Ponder, TX), 3-0, in a league bout.
