Fans at Friday's league contest between the Old Colony RVT Cougars (Rochester, MA) and the visiting Cape Cod RVT Crusaders (Harwich, MA), observed Old Colony RVT's volleyball team hold off Cape Cod RVT by a count of 3-2.
The Cougars (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against South Shore Vo-Tech (Hanover, MA). The Vikings enter the Mayflower-Small contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, South Shore Vo-Tech tipped Upper Cape Cod RVT (Bourne, MA), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Crusaders now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bristol County Agricultural for a Mayflower-Small battle on Wednesday, October 15. Cape Cod RVT will meet a Chieftains team coming off a 3-0 league win over Norfolk County Agricultural (Walpole, MA). The Chieftains record now stands at 9-6.
