Fans at Friday's league contest between the Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX) and the visiting Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX), saw Centennial's volleyball squad notch a victory over Seguin by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Centennial improves its record to 28-11 on the season. The Spartans host Everman (Everman, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 5A Region I District 8 battle on Tuesday, October 14. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 9-15. Everman lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX)

The Cougars now own a 1-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host Joshua for a 5A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, October 14. Seguin will battle a Owls team coming off a 3-0 league win over Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX). The Owls record now stands at 27-9.
