Texas High School Volleyball - Independence over Emerson

October 10, 2025: Frisco, TX 75035

Fans at Friday's league contest between the Independence Knights (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Emerson Mavericks (McKinney, TX), observed Independence's volleyball team top Emerson by a tally of 3-1.

The Knights (13-11) will now prepare for their contest against Memorial (Frisco, TX). The Warriors go into the 5A Region II District 11 test with a 24-12 record. In their last test, Memorial achieved victory over Heritage (Frisco, TX), 3-1, in a league test.

The Mavericks now own a 11-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lebanon Trail for a 5A Region II District 11 test on Tuesday, October 14. Emerson will meet a Trail Blazers team coming off a 3-2 league win over Frisco (Frisco, TX). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 7-20.
