Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Havre Blue Ponies (Havre, MT) and the host Fergus Golden Eagles (Lewistown, MT), observed Havre's volleyball team hold off Fergus by a count of 1-0.
The Blue Ponies (20-5) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson (Boulder, MT). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record.
The Golden Eagles now own a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laurel for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 14. Fergus will encounter a Locomotives squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Lockwood (Billings, MT). The Locomotives record now stands at 4-5.
