In Friday's league bout, the Fort Bend Travis Tigers (Richmond, TX) volleyball team knocked off the host Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX), by a margin of 3-1.

The Tigers now possess a 19-18 record. They play next when they host Fort Bend Bush for a 6A Region III District 21 bout on Monday, October 13. Fort Bend Travis will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 5-26.

The Bulldogs (19-19) will now prepare for their match against Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX). The Hurricanes enter the 6A Region III District 21 match with a 22-12 record.
