Connecticut High School Volleyball - Holy Cross over Naugatuck

The Holy Cross Crusaders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Naugatuck Greyhounds to 1 in the Crusaders league triumph on Friday.

The Crusaders now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Berlin for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 11. Holy Cross will clash with a Redcoats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Southington (Southington, CT). The Redcoats record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Naugatuck drops to 15-1 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT) to confront the Spartans in a Naugatuck Valley match on Thursday, October 16. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 12-4. Waterbury Career Academy won 3-0 in their recent league match against Oxford (Oxford, CT)
