The Kenai Central Kardinals tipped the host Mt. Edgecumbe Braves volleyball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Kardinals confront the Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 10. Kenai Central will attempt to advance on its 28-5 season record. The Stars enter the game with a 17-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Wasilla (Wasilla, AK).

With the loss, Mt. Edgecumbe drops to 8-17 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Valdez (Valdez, AK) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Friday, October 10.
