In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Kentucky School for the Deaf Colonels.
The Bulldogs (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind (Spartanburg, SC). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind was beaten by Abbeville (Abbeville, SC), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Colonels play the Georgia School for the Deaf Tigers (Cave Spring, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 10. Kentucky School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 0-0 non-league Tennessee School for the Deaf (Knoxville, TN).
