Alaska High School Volleyball - Monroe Catholic tips Kodiak

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Monroe Catholic Rams (Fairbanks, AK) and the visiting Kodiak Bears (Kodiak, AK), saw Monroe Catholic's volleyball squad nudge Kodiak by a score of 1-0.

With the win, Monroe Catholic improves its record to 13-7 on the year. The Rams travel to Sitka (Sitka, AK) to battle the Wolves in a non-league contest on Friday, October 10. The Wolves enter the contest with a record of 13-10. Sitka lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)

Next, the Bears battle the Homer Mariners (Homer, AK) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 11. Kodiak will attempt to improve on its 4-23 season record. The Mariners go into the battle with a 10-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Mountain City Christian Academy (Anchorage, AK).
