Lakeside Panthers (Evans, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lakeside improves its record to 38-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to South Effingham (Guyton, GA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 11. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 34-10. South Effingham won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Camden County (Kingsland, GA)
