The Lee Ganders volleyball team (Baytown, TX), was beaten 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Nederland Bulldogs (Nederland, TX)

The Bulldogs (17-18) will now prepare for their challenge against West Brook (Beaumont, TX). The Bruins enter the 5A Region III District 19 challenge with a 23-11 record. In their last challenge, West Brook was beaten by Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Ganders meet the Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 34-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX).
