Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Maranatha Christian Academy Mustangs (Brooklyn Park, MN) and the host St. Agnes Aggies (St. Paul, MN), observed Maranatha Christian Academy's volleyball team hold off St. Agnes by a tally of 3-2.

The Mustangs (8-16) will now prepare for their contest against West Lutheran (Plymouth, MN). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 8-15 record. In their last battle, West Lutheran was edged by PACT Charter (Ramsey, MN), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Aggies now own a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nova Classical Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 14. St. Agnes will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN). The Knights record now stands at 11-13.
