The Seward Seahawks volleyball squad (Seward, AK), was edged 1-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Mountain City Christian Academy Lions (Anchorage, AK)
The Lions (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Edgecumbe (Sitka, AK). The Braves go into the non-league battle with a 7-14 record. In their last battle, Mt. Edgecumbe tipped Sitka (Sitka, AK), 3-2, in a league battle.
The Seahawks now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nikiski for a 3A Southcentral battle on Tuesday, October 14. Seward will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Kenai Central (Kenai, AK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-8.
