Texas High School Volleyball - Perrin-Whitt over Newcastle

Fans at Friday's league contest between the Perrin-Whitt Pirates (Perrin, TX) and the host Newcastle Bobcats (Newcastle, TX), observed Perrin-Whitt's volleyball team top Newcastle by a tally of 3-0.

The Pirates (26-11) will now prepare for their test against Garner (Weatherford, TX). The Longhorns go into the 1A Region II District 11 test with a 9-14 record. In their last test, Garner was defeated by Bryson (Bryson, TX), 3-2, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bryson for a 1A Region II District 11 test on Tuesday, October 14. Newcastle will face a Cowboys squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Garner (Weatherford, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 14-16.
