Texas High School Volleyball - Richland can't hold off Sanger

The Sanger Indians held off the visiting Richland Raiders volleyball team by a margin of 3-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Indians now possess a 22-16 record. They play next when they travel to Celina for a 4A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, October 14. Sanger will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 15-23.

The Raiders (15-14) will now prepare for their match against Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX). The Falcons enter the 4A Region II District 9 match with a 9-16 record. In their last match, Lake Dallas was tipped by Aubrey (Aubrey, TX), 3-0, in a league match.
