Roxboro Community Bulldogs (Roxboro, NC) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the Voyager Vikings (Durham, NC) in a Triangle North 1A challenge, on Tuesday, October 12. Roxboro Community will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 9-0 league win over Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC).

The Knights now have a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Henderson Collegiate for a Triangle North 1A challenge on Thursday, October 14.
