In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Valley Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hope Christian Huskies.

The Vikings (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Del Norte achieved victory over Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Huskies clash with the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 15. Hope Christian will attempt to advance on its 11-3 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the battle with a 6-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Moriarty (Moriarty, NM).
