The West Springfield Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Woodson Cavaliers to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Potomac for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 18.
The Cavaliers (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Bruins enter the non-league game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Lake Braddock was nudged by Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
