Next, the Bears confront the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 challenge, on Thursday, October 13. La Cueva will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record. The Matadors enter the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 2-2 league Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM).

The Panthers now possess a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Mesa for a 5A District 2 challenge on Saturday, October 15. Piedra Vista will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-10.
