Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Seneca Bobcats (Erie, PA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Lakers confront the Girard Yellowjackets (Girard, PA) in a District 10 Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, October 13. Mercyhurst Prep will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA).

The Bobcats now possess a 6-1 record.
