Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Terryville Kangaroos (Terryville, CT), 8-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Chiefs face the Wamogo Warriors (Litchfield, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 14. Nonnewaug will attempt to better on its 11-0 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Thomaston (Thomaston, CT).

The Kangaroos now have a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwestern Regional for a Berkshire challenge on Tuesday, October 18.
